I recently archived my 35+ years old Sharp MZ-800 disk archive using KryoFlux. The whole process is documented in my blog:

https://blog.delgado.de/posts/dumping-s ... ppy-disks/

3 different disk formats are covered:
* Sharp basic disks
* CP/M disks
* ORG-F disks (an assembler I used back in the eighties)

perphaps this is useful. Feedback welcome

Thanks for sharing! this is allways nice to read!

BTW: Doesn't SAMdisk support kryoflux RAW files directly as input?

Yes, SAMdisk supports the Kryoflux stream format, but I had no luck creating the DSK-files directly. When using e.g.

Code: Select all

samdisk dump00.0.raw disk2.dsk -k0 -c40 -s16 -z1
to creat a DSK-file from a Kryoflux dump, I get a DSK-file not working with the emulators and a strange size. So I ended up with a different workflow. But perphaps I've overseen something here - comments welcome.

Verrry nice. I had such a machine myself, although my heart was always with the Commodore machines... so we ended up have a more on and off business type of relationship.
