correct PC-DOS imaging settinging

Hi,

I have the stream files from a 5.25" PC-DOS disk of Neuromancer. I'm trying to play it in Boxer.

My settings for kryoflux are:



My read looks like this:



And, I get these two .img files:



But, when I drag them into Boxer it tells me they are Windows games and it can't play them.
What am I doing wrong???

for me (i am not an expert) it seems these images size, 184kb, are bad.

AFAIK, Neuromancer MSDOS came as 1 3,5" (720KB) or 2 5.25" (360KB) floppy disks, so these images are bad.

you could try this from commandline:

DTC -fdisk1 -i0 -k2 -fdisk1.img -i4
DTC -fdisk2 -i0 -k2 -fdisk2.img -i4

this worked for me dumping 360kb 5.25" disks

Thanks! I will give that a try.

I am stuck with just the stream files at the moment, so I am going off of the assumption that the stream files are good. The person who made them knows kryoflux well, so it is a somewhat safe assumption for me to make, but I suppose there is the chance that the initial read of the Neuromancer disk was just bad.

I had the 2 5.25" (360KB) disk imaged - one was called 'startup' and the other 'animation'

As I'm working from the streamfiles an not the actual disk, would the command line you provided by the same?

Hi!

I'm generally decent with the command line but I'm getting confused working it with Kryoflux. I'm taking the command you suggested and modifying for my paths. but I' getting this:

Blake-6:~ blake$ dtc -f/Volumes/Belladonna/Blake/Desktop/Kryo/StreamFiles/Neuromance_Start_Up/t* -i0 -k2 -fdisk1.img -i4
Device not found
Blake-6:~ blake$

Any help here would be great!
