:) Thanks. Does the automatic bitcell-size work on the basis of "here are all the bits for the track (splices/unusual latencies added in), at 300rpm this is the size they have to be to fit"?

If, for example, I want a home-brew-non-archival-non-canonical ipf simply for the purposes of being able to write a usable disc with my kryoflux, to minimise the risk of a valued original getting trashed, at present there would be no way of describing an FM stream other than "bodging" it as Raw?

Cheers,

d.

If someone needs to hack around, at least changing extension and identifier in the container.

You could as well contact us and maybe help extending it?

New version of IPF reader-writer.
As a reminder the IPF image-file reader-writer is part of the Public domain AIR project https://github.com/DrCoolzic/AIR where you can get the sources.

The IPF reader-writer executable setup program as well as documentation can be found at http://info-coach.fr/atari/software/pc- ... lities.php

The latest IPF documentation is V1.3 http://info-coach.fr/atari/documents/_m ... tation.pdf
The setup program http://info-coach.fr/atari/software/pc- ... /setup.exe
The program doc http://info-coach.fr/atari/software/pc- ... index.html
The source https://github.com/DrCoolzic/AIR

Once installed the program will auto update if new version is published
IPF doc 1.4 is almost ready only minor fixes
