Figured with my first post I'd show off my Kryoflux box. It's in a standard 3 bay box which I picked up somewhere. I've got 3 drives attached to it, an old TEAC 5.25" drive that I found in a computer in a skip back when I was at Uni, so the drive is probably about 15-20 years old, my old 3.5" Matsushita from the second computer I ever built, so it's done sterling work over the past 13 years, and then finally an old 3" SS/SD Hitachi drive that I picked up from eBay relatively cheaply, so that I could image the discs from my Dad's old Amstrad PCW.
Must say, only had the Kryoflux for about a year now and it's been a godsend. I've been able to use the 5.25" drive to recover old software that I'd thought I'd never get a chance to use again. I've not really found any discs that it's struggled to image, and not only that, to be able to image some of my Dad's old data discs from 25 years ago and read the data as if it was new is brilliant for me, especially as he passed away a few years back, so to get this back is very good for my Mum as she's been able to see stuff of his that was potentially lost again.
