Post by hawui1 » Fri Dec 09, 2011 4:16 pm

Hi,
What are the plans for adding the ADF write support ?
Will it come as Christmas Gift ? ;)
Thanks in advance,

I am not saying Christmas, but yes, ADF will be the first sector format supported for writing :)

Thanks for adding ADF write support.. I'm heavily testing.. and for now it seems to be working flawlessly..
there's still the annoying behavior of the "copy protected" disk that is not recognized and the fact I have to "re-read" the disk after the write because the write core is not yet verifying, however obviously this is the first release and so there will be time later..

Thanks Thanks Thanks.. I really missed this one since the very beginning I bought your card..

Glad it works for you. Could you share the exact drive model and disk brand/type used? :-)

Drive is same SFD-321B /LEB T5 I was using for dumping..
it works just fine.. disks are no-brand blue ones DSDD coming as NOS.. some of these fail.. but if I try to format the ones failing with Kryoflux on a real Amiga they fail as well..
on the other hand what is successfully written by Kryoflux is perfectly readable also on the real Amiga..

KryoFlux actually simulates how an Amiga would write the disk :-) That's why you can choose between ntsc and pal for adf writing.

Hi,

Great to be able to write ADFs from my laptop, works good. :)

Is GUI available for the write ADF image to disk ? I couldnt see it in the GUI version so i am using command line.

Thanks for the ADF write support, excellent
