...and since A2 disks are flippy, I'd recommend getting a flippy modded drive otherwise you'll have trouble with side 1 of the disks as normal PC drives cannot read it.

So far I've done 34 disks and not a problem with any of them. Use -g0 for side 1, -g1 for side 2 and it seems to work just fine.

Well it might seem fine but all your second sides will be wrong if they are Apple // titles. Try them in an emulator.

If you want to image the second side, your options are either:

1) a modified drive,
2) a drive purpose built with two index hole detectors, or
3) disassemble the floppy and physically turn the media surface over before returning it to its sleeve.

2 would be ideal but they are probably very rare (if they exist). 1 is the most common but more costly and potentially risky. 3 is free, but you ruin your disk in the process and risk damaging the media surface.
