Third one had first three tracks either formatted or wiped for whatever reason. Few tracks had errors but were unused.

Actual used portion of the data was ok.

Unfortunately the DOS tool can't decode the files from the third disk, as the directory usually is located on the second track which contains no valid data....

Thanks everybody for the big support. Some games from the mid-70s developed by Adolfo Melilli for Model Racing, which have never been put on the market, are coming back to life. Parts of assembler sources for 8080 microcontrollers have been recovered. Incomplete information from which, however, it was possible to guess the type of hardware used and write a new driver for MAME that allows you to play with this prototype. Continue reading the other discs to try to save as much as possible of these pieces of videogame history before they are irretrievably lost. "cane" and "volpe" are two other games. "cane", in particular, is the game to which Melilli had dedicated an entire year of work. Unfortunately a previous reading had been attempted by other people in which some traces have been irreparably damaged.

I doubt Adolfo disk will improve if the first tracks are really erased. And as those tracks also contain the file allocation table which makes parsing files together difficult.

Will check the dumps later.

I was wrong. Not sure why the first dump had the first three tracks of data missing but the second dump was good minus few bad sectors on unused areas.

Cane was also good with two bad sectors on unused areas.

Volpe on the other hand has lots of damage throughout the disk. The files might be accessible but most of them have bits and pieces missing.

This is the second reading of "volpe" after a deep cleaning of the floppy surface.
