GUI Error - DTC executable and firmware in current directory or path

Post by tazmusica » Sat Feb 09, 2019 9:39 pm

Hello,

I am attempting to use the GUI, but I get the following error:

Error: DTC executable and firmware in current directory or path.

As a result, I can't do anything with any of the drives I have. I am able to successfully use command-line as described in the setup information that came with the KryoFlux board.

What is this error and how to I fix it? Thank you!

I looked for a log file, but could not find one. Do you know where it is stored?

Is the DTC executable in the same directory as the kryoflux-ui.jar?

Could you post the output of the following command, when in the same folder as the KryoFlux jar file:

java -jar kryoflux-ui.jar

Thanks

Hi,

Yes, the DTC executable is in the same directory as the kryoflux-ui.jar.

Here is the output of java -jar kryoflux-ui.jar:

Just run the program once as an administrator. Could be a java bug which is about 10 years old now but still apearing from time to time!

Seems like an odd one. The log seems to suggest it's seeing DTC fine.

Another thing you could look at is in the configuration, you can set the party to DTC.
