Bad sector recovery using STREAM files?

What brightcaster said. Is that the same preservation stream image?

The good news is whatever images that is, since all sectors are there and show green (no CRC errors), you can tell HxC to export that to a 1.44mb image file.

Yep, same disk :) I inspected the surface and found nothing. I was able to load the MFM sector image into the HxCFloppyEmulator and even access my files! :) WinImage on the other hand complained that the image was bad -- strange.

I can browse the files on the disk via HxC. I guess I'll next try to export it to a floppy image and create a virtual floppy drive. I'm not sure if being able to browse my files necessarily guarantees that I'll be able to recover the data.
