what does *b mean?

Post by hyperactive »

Hi there.
on side 2 of my copy of defender of the crown what does it mean when it displays a *b warning? it does this after track 25. is this normal? is the disk managed in some way?
Thanks.

Manual page 22: Sector number mismatch. Would assume you are trying to generate a D64 (instead of G64) of a copy protected disk?

No, I'm not. It shows up during the dumping process.

Because you compare a custom format to CBM DOS; it has more sectors on later tracks than CBM DOS and you get the B warning about that.
The correct format of DoTC is V-MAX!, which is -i19
