apple ii prodos disk sector order

hi,

i have dump copy ii plus 6.6 for apple ii

when i convert Stream flux with this command line

dtc -m1 -ftrack -i0 -ftest.raw -i2 -ftest.po -i8 -l8

i get a file that i can't execute on activegs but when i convert this .po with CiderPress i get another .po that run on activegs

Afaik 8a was the prodos order, so if that's not working either the program is expecting something else.

I have seen some Apple // emulators that get very picky about the extension, possibly where the extension doesn't correspond to the sector ordering of the file.

Try simply changing your extension from .po to .dsk and see if that makes a difference.

That makes sense since there is no other way you could tell the content type from a sector dump other than checking the extension.
