Will it work with 3.5" 2.88mb floppy drive?

I used this drive in a PC (ASUS A7V motherboard) I had from 2000-2010. I would only be reading media that were originally written with the same drive. I saw another thread about 2.88mb drives from 2011, but the guy appeared to be asking a different question. (It sounded like he wanted to try to read invalid media or something.)

Yes, 2.88MB drives are supported, but 2.88MB media is not. Since there has only been one format for this (MFM PC) you can use an older PC. Currently, there are no plans for 2.88MB support.

Sadly, I have no room on my desk for an old PC for a single purpose like that.

Sadly, we have no room for this in the dev budget atm. Think this is the second or third request like this in five years. But I will put it on the list.
