Trying to restore Monkey Island 1 big box game ..

Hi ...I wonder if anyone can help me restore disk 1 of this big box PC game.
After many retries with my Kryoflux board ..tweaking disk spin speed and retry attempts I managed to recover the contents of disks 2 and 3.
Sadly disk 1 is too far gone flux wise.
I'd like to split the case and replace the magnetic disk from a donor floppy ..then re-write disk 1.
There are others in my collection that suffered the same fate including Monkey Island 2 le chucks revenge and System Shock.
both have degraded media ..but for now I'm concentrating on The secret of Monkey Island since it is closest to restoration.
If only I'd had my Kryoflux sooner...doh!
To prove I actually own this I'm attaching a photo.
That way I can't be accused of piracy.
Can anyone help ?
kind regards
VS
..and yes I'm aware the photo shows the boxes and disks mixed up ..
thats rushing for you.

Tally so far -
I have successfully recovered Disks 2 and 3 of The Secret of Monkey Island I suspect Disk 1 is unrecoverable
Monkey Island 2 ..sadly all disks appear damaged beyond recovery
System shock ..nine disk set
Persistance has allowed me to recover disks 1 through 7 ..and disk 9
using the GUI and retries set to max (100) and revolutions set at 7 upped from the default of 5
Disk 8 is the only one which will not recover ...but then there is a visible circular scratch on the disk surface.
The upper side disk (1) in the GUI.
I'm more than happy to share these recovered disks contents.
I am frustrated that there isn't an accessible archive for these old floppy games for anyone that can prove ownership.
cest la vie

I'm curious if you used any disk cleaning method(s) before reading any of these disks? 3.5" disks can be a real pain when something goes wrong. They can't quite be rinsed out like 5.25" disks, they are very hard to get dry.

Only a 50/50 ISA H20 and Cotton bud cleaning..
Which did help with a couple of disks.
but some of the disks are so badly corrupted that no amount of cleaning or intensive flux reading would help.
In short I think I did well to recover as much as I did.
..not that any of this effort is much use if 1 disk in each set is unrecoverable.
