The Synclavier I, use two SA400 minifloppy (5,25").

What is the best technique to dump these drives or extract enough information to make a reverse engineering ?

The final goal is to use a USB HxC in place of SA400

The first step is to make "blind dumps" of a few disks, so I can take a look.
e.g.
dtc -fname -i0 -i2

You should be able to dump these disks already by setting image type to 3, and track distance to 2.
e.g.
dtc -fname.img -k2 -i3 -l8

Since at least the disk dumped is single sided, you can also save some time by enforcing side 0 dumping only:
dtc -fname.img -k2 -g0 -i3 -l8

btw: you are using an older firmware release than the current one. If you are using Windows, there is a newer software package available, including firmware.

Just download the latest release from our website. The firmware is not flashed, it's downloaded to the board every time you plug it in.

KryoFlux firmware and hardware information is embedded into the stream files, so it's easy to see what version is being used.

I restarted the tests a few days ago and with the help of Jean-Fran├žois Del Nero (Jeff), I finally have a reliable and usable disk image. Here the hfe file :
