Solved: Dumping side 1 of C64 games on flippy drive

When I try to dump side1 (eg Wasteland) the first few tracks always show up as warnings. When I use the GUI they are displayed as orange T's. I thought the -b-8 (Panasonic drive) would result in no track warnings? I tried another disk also and it was the same. I have compared my dump of Wasteland to another person's dump and theirs shows all green on the GUI for both sides of the disk.

Code: Select all

[john@jupiter64 dtc]$ ./dtc -p -b-8 -fwastelandtest1/wasteland -i0 -y -g1 -i6 -l8 -t10 -dd1

Also what I noticed was that, even though I specified only side 1 be dumped, in the directory wastelandtest1 I get raw files for both sides?? How come?

Code: Select all

[john@jupiter64 dtc]$ ls -l wastelandtest1/
total 3412

I found the source of the track numbering problem. Now fixed and drive working perfectly. See attached pics.
