batch file if error log in a file

Post by aneelley » Thu Jan 19, 2017 9:14 pm

I would like some help creating a batch file with some logic to only dump errors to a log file if they are encountered. That way, I can mark the disk for cleaning and try again at a later date. Does anyone have such a batch file already created?

I wound up doing this:
@echo off
rem dump Amiga to .adf container, date stamp the file, send output to the console and create an error log.
rem -p=create directory
rem -f=set the directory
rem -i=AmigaDOS sector image, 80+ tracks, DS, DD/HD, 300, MFM

dtc.exe -p -fZ:\amiga_dumps\adf\%1_%date:~-4,4%%date:~-10,2%%date:~-7,2%.adf -i5 >CON 2>error.log
