Interesting disk that is. I have absolutely no idea how Atari finds the tracks/sectors and accesses the data. :)

Most platforms have a directory and/or boot data at the first track...

Maybe the Atari version was programmed to only access the tracks where the data was stored, so it didn't need a directory putting on the disk!

A fixed track/sector position ;)

Would assume the disk would boot from the first track and the code would then tell to move to such arbitrary position. But the outer tracks only have a single header on empty tracks.

Hrm, should've checked. It's just an expansion disk to the game.

Lol, yes, a New Dataset as the cover says! So, you can pre-program to only look at a certain position on the disk as IFW says!!
