...and indeed it's a slightly different unprotected master. Works perfectly now :)

Marvellous! Just what I wanted, I can copy those good streams over the 1st dump and make a clean dump!

Do you only ever make IPF's from a single verified good dump? I'm thinking in this case you have 2 bad dumps from the same version but you can make a good dump from both of them, or is it more involved than that?

* Seems you posted new info, so you've made a proper IPF from my dumps?

No, of course as long as usable content is 100% identical - ie same version - an ipf might contain tracks from multiple disks.
Yes, I've tried the this version vs. he retail one and there are slight differences, including no copy-protection - but of course the disk is custom format anyway.

I think there's more deserving people of a 'well done' than me, the letters S, P & S spring to mind :D But, happy this version has now been put to bed 8-)
