Re: Albedo from MYRIAD 1988

We'll see... Was the dump made with a HD drive? (not any Amiga one) I took a quick look, but it uses a new format, not in CTA yet, so first it must be reverse-engineered, then scripted in CTA, then we'll know whether the dump is good or not. the dump was made with a sony MFP-920. not an amiga one i...

Re: Albedo from MYRIAD 1988

Indeed :-) It's a test dump, i'm not even sure that it will be ok. My A1200 drive has problem to read the datas on the disk, while my A500 reads it perfectly without any problem. The disk format is unknown. what i have noticed until now, is that this game is almost unwrappable..... the data read se...

Re: Albedo from MYRIAD 1988

Hello, i have dumped a very very rare game called Albedo, published by Loriciel and developped by Myriad. This dump is in the kryoflux bitstream format. the problem is that my A1200 is unable to read correctly the data on tracks because it uses a very nasty copy protection scheme (tecnoball or tecn...

Re: How to backup Amiga disks.

Beast 3 should not be a problem, you just need to use tracks 0 to 81.

Re: Overlander from elite systems

It just doesn't work :( Because the CPC disks are PER side, and the dtc -fimagename -i0 -i2 image the disk like if it was a double sided disk......

Do you have any clues ? Because i must send back to the owner the disk :(

Re: Overlander from elite systems

i asked to a guy that has good knowledge of amstrad cpc loader routines. The game performs a check for sector 48 on track 0 which should be 100 bytes in length. Samdisk have not been able to image it correctly.... Now i need to try to dump it with kryoflux..... let's see how it behaves with your com...

Overlander from elite systems

Hello Guys, i have a problem to dump this one.

It uses what seems to be a weak sector, and DTC crash right away when it reads it, it says bad sector, then the drive head is going nuts and DTC exits.

i have done an extended DSK of the game, if you can look at it below :

New York Warriors for amstrad CPC disk release

Hello Guys, The actual dump as IPF of New York Warriors is incompleted, it must be 2 sides and not only 1.

I have dumped many different originals, none of them has the side B. I guess we need to contact Fred Williams, the amstrad CPC coder, to know if he has still
the master of this game.
