Re: Error writing Kryoflux stream

It would be great if you could post the file that's causing the error in DTC.

Re: Problems with various Softwahre

Pretty much anything imaged with KF should work under emulation (at least in Vice), with a few known exceptions - one of those is Vampire's Empire which seems to have an emulation issue, or at least it had last time I tried; admittedly a few years ago ;) KF does not re-align tracks at all when writi...

Re: Writing back CT RAW images

There might be programs to do that, but CT Raw is an emulation specific format (to make it easy to use "blind dumps") and was not designed for writing.

Re: New to KryoFlux, what can (and can't) it do?

Well, if you are absolutely certain that side 1 contains no data whatsoever - e.g. you actually worked on that game :) -, then of course you can just image side 0. When we (at SPS) archive any kind of disk, we never ever go for single sided dumps, as otherwise we'll never now 100% whether a game is ...

Re: Verify errors when writing G64 images to disk.

Yes, the log means that it took 5 attempts to write CBM track 18 until it was correct. No, VMAX (or any other custom C64 format) sectors should not fail verification, unless they show an error in the first place if you decode your stream files. There is no way to reliably verify a g64 image written ...
