Okay, the new version will search for DTC on the path, and only extract it if necessary. Couldn't bring myself to hack it in, when the proper solution was only a few more lines :)

Yeah, that would be easy enough. I did assume that it could be anywhere on the path however... Was planning to solve it completely by seeing if it is on the path, but maybe we can just do that for now...

Good point. I just checked and this is still a problem. We want to get a new version out tonight, so I don't think we can get that fixed in time (busy today), but I'll make sure it is in for the next version.

Okay, next version (out soon!) you can pick your dump folder, the current working directory is just the default.

Does Nautilus give apps it executes a default working directory of your home folder? That is the only way I can think of this happening... Everything is saved relative to '.' Having said that, a future version will allow you to specify where you want your dumps. I guess that feature just got higher ...

That does sound rather odd. It should save them (currently) relative to the current working directory. So maybe we can start by asking how you launch the UI? I would hope that launching from the command line after cd'ing to the kryoflux folder would work... But maybe you are executing it by some kin...

Firstly, write support is actually not complete yet. We were targeting end of December, but other commitments meant it was not possible. It is making exciting progress though, so we hope to talk about this more soon. About your drives, I concur with Specfreak, it sounds like a drive alignment proble...
