Re: GUI, stream files "preservation" vs "format guided"

Thanks for the detailed report Lionel. I've tried to reproduce this, but I get the -i0 and -i0a as expected. One possibility is that something in your user interface config isn't quite right. If you go into your home directory, there will be a .kryoflux folder, and in there you'll see an image-profi...

Re: Better control section in GUI

All good ideas, thanks. I suppose as you say, it is very common to use stream + something else, so it does seem a good idea to mainly show the something else (and maybe an asterisk or something to signify a stream format is also selected). The edit field should expand when the dialog is resized, but...

Re: Kryoflux GUI Problem

Hi. Was just fixing this problem. However, I get a slightly different behaviour (see attached screenshot), where I specified a non-existing output directory "mememe" and tried to create an image (from a stream file), but I get a (somewhat) clear error. So, just a couple of questions: 1) Please confi...

Re: Java error

Hi. I've now added some debug information to try to help me understand what is going wrong on your system. Please download the following JAR and run it from the command line as you did before.

http://kryoflux.com/kryoflux-ui.jar

Once it has finished, please post the output here.

Thanks

Re: Java error

Pretty odd. That version I sent pretends your system in an English locale, to see if it was that going wrong, but clearly it's a more general problem I'll have a think about this a bit more and get back to you. If we have to, we could add some debug code to see exactly where things are going wrong o...

Re: Kryoflux GUI Problem

Ah, okay. Yes it should already be doing that, so the fact that it doesn't is a bug. We'll fix it though, thanks!

Re: Kryoflux GUI Problem

Hi Chris, Could you please try opening a command window in your KryoFlux directory and type: java -jar kryoflux-ui.jar Then try imaging a disk in the same way. Hopefully you'll get some error output in that command window that we can use to figure out what the problem is, so please post what it says...

Re: Java error

I'm not sure what is causing this as I can't seem to reproduce it. Can you try downloading this version and see if that makes a difference?

Re: Java error

It looks like a problem with the German translation for the UI, but that can't be right because, since there isn't one, it should default to the English.

There must be some problem with the resource files. I'll check this out tonight and her back to you. I assume it's probably a bug.

Re: Problem reading side 1 of a 360k PC disk

Yes, this does need to be added to the GUI. I'm working on some secure hashing features at the moment, and I have some other things to catch up on, but I will add this to the list of things to be done. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
