Re: Can anything be done to get flak working?

Well, while i'm at work I downloaded dtc, my streams and WinVICE SPS onto my works computer and created a D64, edited it and it now works? Only thing I changed in WinVICE was drive to 1541 and CRT Emulation to none! So yes it does work so must be my WinVICE settings on my home PC, will check when I ...

Re: Can anything be done to get flak working?

Found those bytes and changed to EA but it hangs after the countdown, screen fills with garbage and then a blank screen and stays there?

This is in WinVICE SPS version, PAL C64 + 1541.

Re: Can anything be done to get flak working?

Yes, that's been mentioned earlier in the thread and probably won't be added to emulators either! So how do I 'crack' my D64 image to work? Anyone able to check my dump and find out what to alter :)

Re: Can anything be done to get flak working?

You mean the liner inside the disk jacket? I never considered that, but the dent is rounded on one side so probably not much damage to the liner on side 1, the hole on side 0 may drag on the liner though I guess!

Re: Can anything be done to get flak working?

Definitely brutal, but only when dumping on a flippy modded drive! Seeing as the indent goes from Side 0 to Side 1 the 1541's head shouldn't have been damaged.

Re: Flippy floppy drive and dumping kryoflux stream files

What disk are you dumping, a plain CBM DOS disk? The alignment looks to be 4 tracks out, just ignore the flippy commands of -b-8 or -b-4, -y and -g2 and just dump Side 0, so dtc -p -ffolder/streams -i0 -i6 -l8 and see what that produces! Also, use the CODE tags rather than QUOTE to show the output, ...

Re: Flippy floppy drive and dumping kryoflux stream files

Try -b-4 instead of -b-8?

Re: Flippy floppy drive and dumping kryoflux stream files

I use the command prompt, never used the GUI, so from a command prompt in the DTC folder try the following command on a flippy disk and see what the output looks like: dtc -p -b-8 -fFOLDER[Platform]/STREAMS(number of disks)_ -i0 -y -g2 -i6 -l8 You should get CBM DOS tracks being reported for both si...

Re: Can anything be done to get flak working?

Just submitted my copy of FLAK to the ftp: /DUMPS/C64/BarryB/07-04-2017/FLAK[Commodore64].7z No idea if it's been 'written' too but chances are it has :( Initially thought this was a bad disk as there was a depression in the surface about half way up the disk, now I know why! I just wonder if this a...

Is there power getting to the KF board, any LEDs lit? How are you setting it up?
