Re: former used commandline not working anymore?

Hmm. Still have the same error message after using new (Slow) Firmware with new DTC.exe.

New (slow) Firmware with older DTC.exe works.

Re: former used commandline not working anymore?

Will try tomorrow, thanks.

But why didn't the older DTC.exe complain about the new fw? I only exchanged the dtc.exe after getting the error message.

former used commandline not working anymore?

dtc -p -b-8 -fg:\dumpdir\name_ -i -i2 -y -g2 -i6 -t10 -l8 This is the commandline I used now since I started dumping. But after updating to the latest version (v2.0 beta 14 from 03.01.2013) it doesn't work anymore. I'm getting this message: Device Info command response is incompatible. I have anothe...

Re: C64 dumping

Yes thanks :) So, regarding a working Image of a disk, this is where the SPS team joins the field with their IPF format, right? What if I submitted a dump of a modified or bad disk, and another user submitted an unmodified dump. Will I still receive an IPF? As IPF will only be generated of unmodifie...

Re: C64 dumping

I'm a little bit confused right now which is the right way to dump my disks. I did some testing and used 3 different ways (commandlines) to dump one and the same disk. All three ways gave me different results in the size of the raw files as well as in the size of the generated g64 images. The disk I...

Re: C64 Bounty Bob Strikes Back Question

dtc -p -b-8 -fg:\dumpdir\BBSB_ -i -i2 -fg:\dumpdir\BBSB.g64 -y -g2 -i23 -t10 So the -i23 switch here doesn't affect the g64 created with this line at all? I'm assuming that the '-fg:\dumpdir\BBSB.g64' part here is pretty pointless then, no? The correct way would be: dtc -p -b-8 -fg:\dumpdir\BBSB_ -...

Re: C64 Bounty Bob Strikes Back Question

Hi.

I haven't dumped my copy yet, but this is how I would do it (flippy mode):
dtc -p -b-8 -fg:\dumpdir\BBSB_ -i -i2 -fg:\dumpdir\BBSB.g64 -y -g2 -i23 -t10

Re: example commandline switches for the following?

Hi.

This should generate stream files for side0 only:
dtc -p -fg:\dumpdir\dumpfile_ -i -i2

If it's a flippy disk it should look like this, I guess:
dtc -p -b-8 -fg:\dumpdir\dumpfile_ -y -g2 -i -i2

Re: commodore user, kryoflux, where to begin?

The JU-475-5AKJ I got from labodini works great.
Thanks to mr.vince for helping me to find a kind person within Germany who was able to do the modification for me.
