Re: 1200k MSDOS disks

And please take a look at the "IMPORTANT NOTE on command line parameters order" from the KryoFlux manual to find out why. :)

Re: Panasonic Flippy Drive Issues?

Any chance to do the same test with another drive (doesn't have to be modified for that)? Also, do you have dumped already some professionally duplicated disk? If not and you have only dumped disks formatted on *your* C64, there is a chance that your C64 drive is out of alignment instead. You could ...

Re: questions about flux stream to g64

I think those command lines were ment for usage in a batch file and your error could be the result of executing these commands right at the prompt instead. Also I guess that the -p option should be added to the second line in order to get the "%1-dir" created.

Re: a couple of drive track questions

I think hyperactive refers to Flak by Funsoft mentioned on C64PP forums: http://c64preservation.com/bbs/index.php?id=1908 Laser hole must be a pain for preservationists from what can be read there: - needs to be write-enabled to load - modifies data as part of the protection - when dealing with an u...

Re: STUCK ON QUICK START STEP 9

Try replacing the firmware.bin file in C:\kf\dtc with the firmware.bin file in C:\kf\dtc\firmware_slow. 1. Go to C:\kf\dtc in Explorer 2. Rename the firmware.bin file to firmware_normal.bin 3. Go to subfolder firmware_slow 4. Select the firmware.bin file 5. CTRL+C 6. Navigate back to C:\kf\dtc 7. CT...

Re: STUCK ON QUICK START STEP 9

Have you successfully installed the driver, i.e. step 8, the driver installation, is finished? Has the .zip archive been unpacked to "c:\kf" including folder structure? If so, try this (whenever quotation marks are used, do not type them, I just used them for delimiting the commands) 1. Press Window...

Re: questions about flux stream to g64

STREAM to G64 works also perfect using the GUI. Select "Drive" -> "Stream Files" from the menu, select "GCR CBM image" as output and enter whatever name for the output file and then press "Start". Now you'll just have to select the directory the STREAM files reside in, be sure only the files of one ...

Re: KryoFlux UI: Where are image profiles stored?

The settings are stored in the registry under this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\com\kryoflux\ui HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs generally is the place where Java does store information on windows platforms when the software uses its Preferences API. On Linux things are do...

Re: G64 export // enhanced G64 support for VICE

There is just one thing left to say: If you use existing G64 files for Rainbow Arts tiles or other games that incorporate sync length checks, the protection might not pass in this preview version of VICE although it does work in the latest unmodified version. This is due to the tracks being mastered...

Re: C64 dumping

And again two short ones (probably for IFW)... 1. If all .raw STREAM files originate from the same physical disk, may one or some of them be produced with a different drive? If read errors occur on one track when using one drive and later a different drive is used to retry reading the erroneous trac...
