Re: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found

Well, the `GLIBC_2.14' not found' message disappeared (as reported by 'ldd'). However, I can't get it to execute on Debian SID (64-bit). Output from ldd looks fine, but execve refuses to run it - it exits immediately with 'exec: No such file or directory' (as reported by strace. ENOENT, in any case)...

Re: version `GLIBC_2.14' not found

dtc doesn't have to be versioned against a specific glibc version for this to happen. In this case it seems to be just that it's linked against a newer version of glibc than what's generally available. I think you will find that all Linux binaries will complain if executed with an older glibc than w...

Re: PDF manual is barely readable in print

I will humbly have to agree with Uffe here.. documentation shall not have a coloured background, period.

Re: Error reporting after dump with errors

I haven't tested this myself so forgive me for asking: WIll the command line tool set an exit option which can be checked? I.e. will it for example do an 'exit (1)' if there were errors, and 'exit (0)' if OK? If so then a script wrapper could check the value of $? (on Linux and OSX at least).

Re: 8" floppy drives work!

>It's the whole disk compressed. 1*77*26*128 bytes, about 256K. Right, my fault - I had obviously already looked inside the archive (see the list of files listed from the CP/M floppy image) - I was simply looking at the wrong file when I looked at the size.. :) Anyway I also looked closer at the fil...

Re: 8" floppy drives work!

And that sf.img is a 30894 byte image which is, I presume, just the first track, or at least not the full floppy? In any case 'cpmls' from cpmtools reads is as follows (that format is the default format so it doesn't need any options): >cpmls sf.img 0: mbasic.com obasic.com rantest.bas (0: means 'us...

Re: 8" floppy drives work!

Well, as there's been no answer from anyone yet I thought I could add some chatter in the meantime.. I also have some 8" floppies to read, some of which I believe are in the same format as your floppies (that's a Tandberg CP/M system you have, right?). I just haven't got around to connect everything...

Re: 8" floppy drives work!

Which of the 3 variants of Kryoflux is best suited for my needs? There's only 1 Kryoflux, the 3 variants are just how many add-ons you want. The 'Basic' is just the board. The 'Personal Advanced' comes with board+usb cable+floppy cable+molex cable Then there is another one which is as above but wit...
