Req: Be able to select which side of disk to capture
Hi, The only way I can see, how to determine which side I wish to image is with -i0... I would do something like dtc.exe -g1 -f"Game\Track" -i0 ... this would create a preservation of just side 1. My capturing method at the moment, uses combinations of : -i0 -i0 -i5 -i0a -i5 I have scripte...

Imaging ADF -- How long does it take?
Hi, Just a general question out to the community who image using i5 for Amiga ADF images. How long does it take you to copy a "good" disk, no protection / standard copied disk? For me, I can do them in just under 2 mins. I wondered if this is the average speed for most of us here? I ask, b...

Re: Req: Retry after Imaging
Sorry didnt get back before, been busy imaging some disks. Not sure that is what I am after? But will take a look once im caught up with the last few boxes, and left with a box of "problem" disks. I'd like to dump direct to ADF, with the fastest and quickest method I can ... something like...

Req: Retry after Imaging
One of the things I like to do is use the -r2 command -- when imaging lots of Amiga disks, this is a great help to speeding up the imaging process. One problem I get, is now and again a disk comes with "history" and so I find sometimes I have to try imaging the disk a few times, moving on ...

Req: Detailed Summary when using DTC.exe
I use the DTC command line, because it suits my needs best. However, when the DTC command is running, it will report as the util is running of errors, such as Read Errors etc. Unless I sit there at the command line, or I export the command line output to a text file, or scroll up the screen ... its ...

Re: Amiga / NDOS Problems
Thanks everyone for your replies. I have managed to get the backsups working. You are right it has to be the exact version to be able to extract ... thank god these days tools are mostly written with backwards compatibility. Another set of disks backed up, and another set of disks on the way to land...

Amiga / NDOS Problems
Hi, Up to date, I have managed to image most Amiga NDOS / DOS disks with no problem. I have a selection of Quarterback Sets that seem to backup ... but when I try to perform a restore from an emulator ... it returns an error about the catalogue being corrupt. I was suspicious when I performed this o...
