Re: Command line log file creation

After a day or so of no responses I verified that "piping" or redirection of output is still a viable command prompt command, so I used this and it works like a charm. It still outputs errors to the screen as well which I'm fine with. If it ain't broke don't tell me so. dtc -f<streamfilename> -i0 -f...

Re: Problems/advice with ripping Apple ][ 5.25" floppies...

This is a rather late reply to this post, but I like documenting solutions. I've been rather successful in imaging my Apple DOS3.3 disks using a Panasonic 5-1/4 drive JU-475 5AKJ (old new stock purchased on EBay recently). This drive calibrates as an 83 track drive and for Apple IIe DOS 3.3 disks re...

My KryoFlux Box - the beginnings 3

So here is the functional implementation of the KryoFlux board. It worked wonderfully and I was able to make sector images of many of my Apple DOS3.3 diskettes yesterday and today, over 130 images in all. CiderPress was invaluable as it included an image converter. The AppleWin PC emulator worked gr...

My KryoFlux Box - the beginnings

My need for KryoFlux is transient, so I am taking a minimalist approach but expect to find an old 5-1/4" case of some sort to mount my solution. I am going to be archiving my old Apple //e DOS 3.3 disks, 16 sector (and some ProDOS disks) and recovering files on these via Ciderpress to my Win10 PC. I...
