Re: Problem with stream format on OSX

Thank you! At least I can dump all stream files on the old iMac with 2.20 and write them later back to disk on my MBP with 2.51?

Is there any difference when dumping disks with 2.20 compared to 2.51?

Problem with stream format on OSX

Re: Difference between stream formats

What is the difference between -i0 and -i0a when combined with -i5?

I thought only -i0a should be used with -i5 (and not -i0)?

Re: Best way to backup Amiga floppies

Yes, I have a KF (ordered it 2 weeks ago I think). :) So I guess there is no difference between an ADF generated with transadf on my Amiga and an ADF generated by Kryoflux (except that different floppy drives may generate slightly different magnetic particles on disks whic...

Difference between stream formats

What is the difference between the following formats? * Kryoflux stream files, preservation * Kryoflux stream files, format guided * CT raw image I often use the format guided stream variant AND the preservation format, e.g.: dtc -fTest -i0a -fTest.adf -i5 dtc -fTestP -i0 But I still wonder what "CT...

Best way to backup Amiga floppies

Hello everyone, what is the best way to preserve (and make duplicates of) original Amiga floppy disks? I have about 70-100 (need to count them one day) of original 880KB Amiga floppy disks and I'd like to make backup copies in order to * use the copied versions for occasional gaming * spare the orig...
