Re: Kryoflux seemingly works only partially well

Thanks to all of you who replied. Sorry for the late reply; we got hit hard this week by that WannaCry thing. Firstly, I'm just using the GUI (v2.51 for Windows) to dump both 1.44MB 3.5" disks and 1.2MB 5.25" disks, both formatted for MS-DOS (MFM sector image). I've tried the command line using the ...

Re: Kryoflux seemingly works only partially well

Okay, I'll try setting the density when I get home. As for the command I used, I just used the Java GUI and tried to dump MFM disks in both cases.

Re: Dumping 3.5" DSHD Mac-formatted Disks

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am using a HD drive, and I've tried the MFM format again with several different disks. Every time, I get images with lots of orange squares with an "H" in them. I've even gone as far as using the command line to try and image these disks from v2.40. How would I go about ...

Dumping 3.5" DSHD Mac-formatted Disks

Hello, I'm new to the Kryoflux community. My wife tasked me with the task of retrieving her personal files off of high-density Mac-formatted 3.5" floppy disks. I've already tried all the different formats Kryoflux supports but have so far been unable to produce reliable images of these disks. Her 40...
