Re: Connecting Kryoflux with a SCSI case

Thanks. I think the idea by cutting the VCC pin on the USB cable is that you can leave the USB cable pluged in at any time you want without powering the KF. When you want to work with the KF, just power the SCSI case and everything is powered at the same time and the PC finds the KF as a USB device....

Re: Connecting Kryoflux with a SCSI case

not completely sure what you mean.

do you mean I should power the Kryoflux via the USB (without cutting the VCC pin) and the drives via the PSU from the SCSI case or what? All at the same time is against the description in the quickstart manual...

Connecting Kryoflux with a SCSI case

Hi,

What I have to do, to plug the Kryoflux with an SCSI case?

The floppy drives are connected with the PSU in the case. Please can anybody tell what are exact the steps to connect and unconnect the Kryoflux with the floppy drives in the SCSI case???

Thanks.

Re: My Kryoflux box

Is there anything I have to be watching narrowly when I set up such a system with a 5.25 and a 3.5 drive in a SCSI case? Any changes to made on the drives or the Kryoflux?

Thanks.

Flippy Drives without modding

I have heard that e.g. the JPN CORP Model DS-53A is a drive that works as flippy drive without modding, right?

Does anyone know which drives also perform as flippy drive without modding?

Re: Kryoflux & Flippy Drive Request

Is there any kind of list that shows which drives are modifiable?

I have:
Mitsumi D500
Digital Systems DS-50F
Chinon FZ-506

Does anyone provide a kind of "modifiable service" or sells modified drives around Germany?
