Re: Please use: info files / dump scripts when submitting dumps

Here's a straightforward, no-frills port to Bourne shell (as used on Mac OS X and Linux); I've tested it on Linux. It doesn't support multi-game submissions and doesn't (yet) provide default values.

Re: Segfault with libusb 1.0.9 rc3 in Debian

If however you're using libusb 1.0.9 from the unstable distribution, that could explain the error - but I guess then the solution is to use the unstable version of libc6 too, as skitt apparently has (although I'm not exactly sure how, as the latest unstable version for Debian appears to be 2.13 .) ...

Yes, the version in the tarball above fixes the problem. Thanks!

Segfault with libusb 1.0.9 rc3 in Debian

Hi, With the current version of libusb in Debian testing and unstable, dtc segfaults. The stacktrace is as follows: #0 __pthread_mutex_lock (mutex=0x18) at pthread_mutex_lock.c:50 #1 0xb7fd234b in usbi_get_device_by_session_id (ctx=0x0, session_id=257) at ../../libusb/core.c:569 #2 0xb7fd9f5d in enu...

Re: Look harder for firmware.bin

Actually you can store the firmware file as /usr/local/share/dtc/firmware.bin and dtc will find it there...

Re: GUI & Linux support

While we're at it, would it be possible to have a flag or something to tell the UI not to extract dtc and the firmware if it can't find them in the current directory? It would avoid sprinkling them in various places when they're installed in /usr/bin!

Re: GUI & Linux support

It should work with any Debian distribution. At the very least DTC and the UI will be available; as far as I know all Debian derivatives still use udev and modprobe so the configuration should work as well. If you want to rebuild the package with a new version of DTC and/or the UI JAR, it's not too ...

Re: GUI & Linux support

Yup, I'll submit a bug report against the kernel (2.6.36 oopses, and cdc_acm hasn't change since 2.6.36 was released, so a newer kernel would still suffer from the same problem). I've submitted a ticket with SPS regarding the .deb packages (I've built them but I'm leaving their distribution up to SP...
