Re: GUI Error - DTC executable and firmware in current directory or path

Seems like an odd one. The log seems to suggest it's seeing DTC fine.

Another thing you could look at is in the configuration, you can set the party to DTC.

Re: GUI Error - DTC executable and firmware in current directory or path

Is the DTC executable in the same directory as the kryoflux-ui.jar?

Could you post the output of the following command, when in the same folder as the KryoFlux jar file:

java -jar kryoflux-ui.jar

Thanks

Re: kryoflux-ui.jar with macOS 10.13 and JDK 9

The UI is developed on a Mac, and it works fine for me on High Sierra with Java 9, so I can't think of a reason it shouldn't...

Re: kryoflux-ui.jar with macOS 10.13 and JDK 9

Okay, good to know it all works, thanks.

I'll have to try on Java 11 which is released next month :)

Re: Java for Dummies - Me UI is bust!

Great, thanks for the info. Java 8 is still a Vendor supported version at least. I've now updated the UI for Java 10 (some features we were using that were deprecated in 9 were finally removed in 10), which you can get from the latest version below and will make part of the next official release pac...

Re: Java for Dummies - Me UI is bust!

It looks like there as been some further changes in the same area for Java 10. We'll look into this and get back to you. If you want to get the UI to work, you'll have to use Java 9 for now, where the latest version will work:

Re: Java for Dummies - Me UI is bust!

It's not you.

There were some big changes in Java 9 and 10 (the modularity changes specifically) that took some time for us to adapt to. Hopefully the test version of the UI should work though. Can you try this version and tell us if it works?

Re: kryoflux-ui.jar with macOS 10.13 and JDK 9

Good news, thanks.

Let us know if you have any problems. It should be fine, but a few things now work fundermentally differently given our own implementation of a previous 3rd party library, so please consider this a beta release for now.

Re: kryoflux-ui.jar with macOS 10.13 and JDK 9

A quick update. One of the main problems we had was with a 3rd party library that didn't work on Java 9, so we had to migrate away from it. That's now done though, along with a few other changes. Please try the version below and let me know how it goes. http://www.kryoflux.com/kryoflux-ui.jar This v...

Re: kryoflux-ui.jar with macOS 10.13 and JDK 9

Hi. Thanks for the note. Yes, we've noticed the are some changes required here around the modularity changes in Java 9. We'll get back to you when we know more about what we'll need to change as we'd ideally be compatible with both Java 8 and 9 without having to provide different binaries. [updated ...
