Re: KryoFlux gives you full floppy support on Windows 10

Yeah I've never had any issues with any version of Windows 10 and a USB floppy drive. They all work without any OEM drivers etc. No change from 8/8.1 But I do get the Bossa error from time to time - so I just say "update driver" - and then I select my KF and it's all good. Re: 3,400+ 8bit games - preserved!

This is awesome. Hats off to Pete whom I've provided nibs to for years and continue to do so. Hats off to the KF team and the SPS. I greatly appreciate the effort. I'll continue to supply images where ever possible. Thinking I see one now not listed in the SPS page ;) Upload coming.

Re: Further development of writing functionality

My vote is for user defined scripting. There are other ways to produce "blind" copies. Being able to create an IPF file in a generic manner would be great, however I fear that they could be mixed in with true preservation IPF's. For preservation, I like the way the Commodore format is handled today....

Re: Ready To Go Mobile - Commvex 2013 Las Vegas

I sold 5 external cases at CommVex - and hopefully some folks will show off their units here. I told them about the forums. Several were going to order a KF to go with their Panasonic flippy modded drives.

I built a 2 unit model for 5.25's - I'll post it here when I take some pictures of it.

Nice looking case - I see those a lot on ebay. Perfect for putting the KF board inside - nice and tidy. Good job!

Re: How to write ADF to disk

Having recently acquired an Amiga 1200 and writing out disks with my KF using a Sony 3.5" drive - I've had success with of course DD disk and HD disks with the notch covered. Since I don't plan to keep these disks long term - it works fine for now. I had the same issue as above when writing to an HD...
