Doesn't matter. The drive ignores side 1 and dumps side 0 again. So just dump it once called side 1, flip disk and dump with file name called side 2. Upload all files.

I pulled a Matsushita EME-150A 3" drive from an Amstrad CPCxxxx. Do I need to make a special cable to use it with Kryoflux ? And will Kryoflyx be able to write DSK-files back onto floppies to use with Spectrum +3 ? its the same method you would use to connect it to a pc. you need a cable adapt...

Many 3" drives aren't model numbered. So far all drives from a spectrum of cpc should work. Make sure the drive belt is renewed, bear in mind drive speed fluctuates depending on how stuff the inserted disk is. And ensure you plug the power cable in upside down as the 12v and 5v lives are swappe...

You shouldn't set it to 150 rpm, the pc drive will be reading it at 300.
The Amiga writes normal data speed at 150 rpm to emulate an hd stream at 300.
Does that work any better?

Another drive resurrected :) You will also find that since the drive rpm is not digitally controlled that it changed depending on how stiff the inserted disk is. Thats not a problem in the kryoflux era though. as for DSK, perhaps it can be added if mr IFW gets a moment, but EDSK is not currently on ...
