Re: Mac: USB endpoint not found
@whitehusky. Just use boot camp windows 10. I wouldn’t expect a fix for this. It’s a shame. I hate booting into windows to dump floppies. A real pain in the arse. What I dont understand if the usb stack is broken in Mojave and above why don’t I have any other problems with all my USB devices? Everyt...

Re: Where do I upload all my preserved IBM PC software?
@skye76,
I’ve found the best place to archive and preserve is the internet archive. That way it’s available to all with no questions asked. In my opinion that how preservation should be. That my two cents worth.

Re: Problems writing back to floppy disk
I've managed to successfully duplicate this disk and its copy protection back to floppy using Transcopy 3.0 and an option board. Central Point Software mentions in an amended document to their manual, that when one is having problems with Softguard SuperLok v3.00 copy protection make sure you disabl...

Re: Problems writing back to floppy disk
The break is generated by the drive when the write current is removed from the heads. Some generate larger glitch, some shorter. KryoFlux, or DTC, when writing from raw files just writes the track from index to index as it has no further knowledge if a break should be made to appear somewhere else....

Re: Problems writing back to floppy disk
Interesting. So is there a way to force KF to not leave that slight break? I have the TC images converted by NRS which work on DosBox-TC. Not sure if they would help on this investigation? But all three versions and the Sideman run fine. Unfortunately I have a Deluxe option board and cant write thes...

Re: Error: Extra Data was found hidden in unused paths of the block header
Thanks David. I did read that a while back but this version looks more complete. Thanks for the link. It's now clear. That could be from the Softguard Superlok 3.0 kit copy protection and the way it was originally written to disk.

Error: Extra Data was found hidden in unused paths of the block header
Hi guys,
Could someone let me know if this is an ERROR or just the CP of a disk. I'm getting it on some Superlok CP floppies.

Re: Problems writing 720kb PC booter
Thanks for the reply. Right. After reading your comments I decided to supply the power to my 3.5" floppy drive not via the adapter I got with my KF but via a PSU from a 486. I still get the "Error: Extra data was found hidden in unused paths on the block header", but I don't get it ov...
