Re: Is my Kryoflux dead?

So, I went over the board with a (very cheap) usb microscope, and couldn't find anything "out of the ordinary". No discolorations, no bulges on components and nothing that you wouldn't expect to find. I'll just get in line for a new one. I'm really happy with the board, and from the looks of it, I d...

Re: Is my Kryoflux dead?

Ah, cool :) So, after I did the "TEST Jumper"-thing, the board did come up as "BOSSA" (which it did not in the original post) This made me believe there was hope atleast. Hi, I've been using the Kryoflux board for 7 years now, and it has served me well. I have dumped a few thousand floppies over the last few weeks, and everything has been just perfect. However, when I booted my "dumping-computer" today, (running linux, ubuntu 16.10 LTS), I just got "the drive doesn't...

Reading (and with time, writing) Amiga/Atari and C64 stuff,

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a KryoFlux board, and have a few questions about the hardware needed in addition to the board itself. I don't have access to a lot of original games and so on, so my dumping won't be interesting for those of you wanting to preserve that, but I do have partial access...
