It might work but not guaranteed. Depends of the virtual machine and OS. I have used KF on Imac with Parallels VM on Windows XP and it worked fine.

1) Very dangerous method for 3.5" disks. Avoid it except if you are really sure what you are doing. 2) Recommended So don't dismantle the whole floppy. Sometimes its nearly impossible to see whether the head is dirty or not so it may need careful cleaning.
