GOG.com interest?

I recently browsed GOG.com a website dedicated to releasing old classics for modern computers. I noticed this reaction from a recent release of Pinball Gold pack which includes Pinball Fantasies, Pinball Dreams, Pinball Mania and Pinball Illusions. Wasn't there a discussion at some point mentioning ...

Re: IPF and Openness

I know what you mean, but I don't see many emu authors implement the use of such a function. From a user point of view (not me included) this is considered annoying. Look at SNES (or MAME even) where the header and other info is being shown. I believe most users are not interested in such a function...

Re: IPF and Openness

Probably an interesting read for you guys by the BSnes author: http://byuu.org/articles/licensing/ I hope it works out for you guys and your file format will be widely supported eventually. I am looking forward to it. The only thing holding me off getting a Kyroflux board.

SPS support in MESS

Did you guys ever consider implementing the ipf / stream / draft format to MESS or contacted a MESS team member about it? That would really be awesome, dozends of computers / floppy based devices supported at ones. It would probably surpass the software list format they use now, unless you guys know...
