Re: Flippy Disk Confusion Between Commodore 1571 vs 1541 Drive
It was - that's correct - but still with Flippy mode turned off in the profile. I seem to have found the dtc command to make a 1571 image: Assume the file we want to create is going to be "data2" dtc -l8 -t10 -dd1 -fdata2 -i0 -fdata2.d64 -g2 -i6 >data2.txt cat data2_s0.d64 data2_s1.d64 > d...

Re: Flippy Disk Confusion Between Commodore 1571 vs 1541 Drive
I'm trying to create an image of a 1571 double sided formatted disk (an old data disk I had on my 128), but not sure how to do it. The standard CBM formats seem to create s0 and s1 files separately. When I copy that to a new profile, select Both Sides, and turn off Flippy mode, I still get two files...

Re: Mac: USB endpoint not found
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-creating-a-custom-ssdt-for-usbinjectall-kext.211311/ Well, to be fair, the tonymacx86 forums are for Hackintosh users (people trying to run macOS on normal PC's), and yes, they run into all kinds of issues getting macOS to run on non-Apple hardware, but that...

Re: POLL: Problems KryoFlux under MacOS
I'm using KF with an old machine on OS X 10.10 so I'm good for now - but someday, that machine will die and I'll be stuck, as are a lot of others now. Sounded from a reply above that @sarnau might have some insight or contacts at Apple that may be able to help. Has anyone been in touch with them yet...

Amiga HD 3.5 disks formatted as DD
I have a bunch of 3.5 High Density floppy disks that were used in an old Amiga that I'm trying to image, but I'm fairly certain they were formatted on the Amiga as if they were a 720k DD format. I'm using Kryoflux with a TEAC FD-235HF drive, which I'm pretty sure is an HD 1.44 model. Imaging all my ...

Re: Installing KryoFlux in Windows 8 / 10
It was just the red LED. But, I booted into Mac OS 10.10.5 and it works perfectly there, so I'm good.

Re: Installing KryoFlux in Windows 8 / 10
Tried installing under Windows 10. Mine did not show up as "Bossa" like described here, but as "Generic USB Hub". I went to the device properties, updated the driver, said Have Disk, installed from the driver folder in the install, and now it shows up correctly as "KryoFlux ...

Re: Mac: USB endpoint not found
Just got my KryoFlux and also am disappointed to see it doesn't run in 10.15. There was a comment that judging by the downloads, 95% of users are on Windows - well, yeah, if the Mac app doesn't work, of course all the downloads will be Windows LOL. I also was forced to download and use the Windows v...
