Re: TI-99 Correct Settings ? ... i have some problems...

The sector images extracted from your stream files have no errors whatsoever. It is however possible that only one side should be used at a time. If that is the case, please try: to read side 0 separately: dtc -f<imagename> -g0 -k2 -z1 -i3 -t10 -l8 to read side 1 separately: dtc -f<imagename> -g1 -...

Re: TI-99/4A Unreadable Sector Floppies Work!!

I have received your various messages and previewed the posts. I have been away from keyboard dealing with a new to me sailboat delivery. I'm now stuck at work. I'll read your posts in detail later and see if I have any suggestions.

Re: Power Sequence Fix Ideas Requested

Thank for the replies. I think I'll proceed to give this setup a try. The box cover was always meant to just set over the setup and be removable. So there will be easy access to the reset button.

Re: Linux Segmentation Fault with -i2

Thanks for reporting - The issue has now been fixed. I imagine it will be available in the next release. Awesome! it turned out to be a 64-bit issue (an "unsigned long" data type was expected to be four bytes long, but on 64-bit it's actually eight bytes long.) Yeah...that sometimes bites me too, s...

Linux Segmentation Fault with -i2

This works:
dtc64 -fsample -i0 -i2

This doesn't work in Linux (Fedora 13)
dtc64 -fsample -i0 -fsample.img -i2

Gives Segmentation Fault. Works as expected in DOS.

Chris

Re: Linux command line: Support for a space character

Just for the record this isn't specific to the Linux version, it's just the way the command line handling has been written. It has been ported to Linux unchanged. Maybe you're rather use the GUI instead? It works fine under Linux too. GUI ?! Blech! I prefer to stay clean. Just kidding. I real...

Re: TI-99/4A Unreadable Sector Floppies Work!!

The initial disks I worked with were TI-99/4A single sided floppies (5.25"). A DTC FM image (-i3) of a double sided disk did not produce a working image. Doing some investigating, I discovered that the working image has the tracks put down in increasing order from side 0 (0 to 39), then contains the...
