Re: Write a Mac 400/800K sector image using Kryoflux

A Work Colleague rocked up with a Mac 1.44 formatted disk. I have no idea if it's good to begin with, so I've dumped it as Stream and then a few other formats. Not sure what I should be outputting it as or what can access it. I made a 1.5MB IMG file (MFM Sector Image) as the others were too small o...

Interesting stuff about Mac Disks. A Work Colleague rocked up with a Mac 1.44 formatted disk. I have no idea if it's good to begin with, so I've dumped it as Stream and then a few other formats. Re: installing kryoflux on Windows XP

Okay, I've installed it on my Parallels VM running Windows 7 64-bit Enterprise (at work). Mac sees it as Atmel Communications. VM sees it as Bosma or something on COM3, install then it goes to COM4 and worked. I guess it's easier on my VM as I can just copy stuff to my USB and everything, so no loss...

Re: installing kryoflux on Windows XP

Hi all, I've been using DTC 2.20 on my Shuttle PC with WIndows XP SP3 fine. I decided to upgrade to DTC 2.51. However as soon as I try to load the UI or use "DTC -c2" I get an immediate crash, similar to OP's screen grab. DTC 2.20 still works okay. Any ideas what the problem is ? I'm using the 32-bi...

ZX Spectrum Opus Discovery 3.5" Dumps

Hi folks, Andy Barker of WoS/TZX Vault here: In the past (18-May-2006) I did some Opus dumps on my Amiga hardware, though I don't know what the outcome of these dumps were. I've recently came into posesstion of Elite by Firebird on 3.5" SS/SD (180k) and decided to dump it on my Kryoflux setup. I'm u...

Re: Linux command line: Support for a space character

You probably need to encompass the "file name" in ""s. This is what I do with SamDisk to get longer filenames with Spaces.
Hopefully the same may work for the DTC.

Re: Amstrad CPC .dsk files

At the moment I don't think you can. Until/unless the SPS guys add outputting to EDSK, which I believe has been mentioned before on here. Alternatively, when the DRAFT format is out, Simon Owen may add conversion support into SamDisk so that you can convert to EDSK. Which ever comes first really. Ob...

Re: Drives confirmed working with KryoFlux

Hi folks, Seems replacing the drive belt did the trick for 3" EME-150A in my DDI-1 Unit. I noticed that the EME-150A was listed as 3.5" in the original post but it's a 3". Okay here's the drives tested and working so far: ??????????, EME-156 (3" SS/SD) works, tracks = 42 (0~41), 10 Feb 87 Matsushita...

Re: Drives confirmed working with KryoFlux

3,5" Mitsumi , D359T 5 works(maxtrack: 83), however Mitsumi , D359T 6 doesn't work here. I've got a D359T6 here and it works okay, just dumped a standard Amiga disk on it to test, using the normal firmware. Drive details are: 3.5" Newtronics (Mitsumi), D359T6, CM: maxtrack=82 Perhaps your drive mot...

@op

I just remembered about the DC2N thing:

Might be of interest for those without a parallel port.
