Re: I have a KryoFlux ... now what?

Thank you! I think for a lot of these disks I am going to need to do a preservation dump for exactly the reasons you stated. I am new to the hardware so I wanted to make sure that I was indeed getting everything. I appreciate all the patience with my newbie questions. :)

Re: I have a KryoFlux ... now what?

So is it best for me to use the preservation mode or just the -i23 argument? I assume that preservation mode will still capture the data on all the (readable) tracks?

Thanks!

Re: I have a KryoFlux ... now what?

Re: I have a KryoFlux ... now what?

Oops, bad news again!
AHHHHHHHH!!!

What about the CBM 2040? I found out that he had a CBM 8050 but most of the disks should have been created with the 2040.

Re: I have a KryoFlux ... now what?

Thank you!
The 8280 was an 8" drive!
Oh wow, oops. I'm pretty sure it was actually an 8050. It was the unit that matched the CBM case with dual 5.25" drives side-by-side.

I have a KryoFlux ... now what?

Hi all, I bought a KryoFlux and have some questions. 1. What format is ideal for imaging PC floppy disks? From the list of options I am really not sure what to choose. I also am not sure how to process the data after imaging either. Do I need to write the data back to a floppy or is there some way t...
