Detecting modified disks

How reliable is the detection for MFM disks (talking about [H] Extra data was detected)? I have a disk which sometimes displays this for a track and when redumping the same disk it displays it for others.

It looks like one of my threads was removed. It was about testing one of my dumps to make sure my kryoflux/drive combination works alright for dumping. I realize this might not be the best place, but closing the thread with message like "please submit a ticket" would have been more helpful instead o...

Kryoflux in a 3.5" SCSI case

I bought an old 3.5" external SCSI case for Kryoflux. It has an internal power supply and the board fits nicely. Chinon FB-354 (3,5", DD), works, tracks = 84 (0-83) [does not support fast firmware, needs 12V connected]

On a side note, this is the drive from my very first Amiga, bought 1991 :)

Mitsumi D359M3D (3,5", HD) works, tracks = 83 (0-82)

Panasonic JU-257A143P (3,5", HD) works, tracks = 84 (0-83) [supports fast firmware]
