Which do you mean? The FD-505 has only one connection to the floppy, and then goes over a small ribon cable to the 3.1/4 part. I already also changed the floppy cable, to be sure.

Hi! I am using my Teac FD-505 with my Kryoflux in a small SCSI case. Until yesterday, both parts, 3.1/4 and 5.1/2 of the FD-505 were working fine. Now, it seems, the 5.1/2 part is dead completly.
