USB has 500mA max. for standard ports. Drives, especially older ones, draw up to 1A when powering up. Do the math. You're voiding your warranty and possibly also damage a USB port.

Powering the Kryoflux

Can you tell me, If I plug in a disk drive into the molex conector on the kryoflux (or the floppy power connector) and plug a power supply into they kryoflux, will that be enough to power the drive or should I buy an external power supply such as the one in the link below: http://webstore.kryoflux.c...

Case for kryoflux

I have a kryoflux revision D2. I found someone who is making cases for the Rosalie Rev:E.

Can you please tell me if these two units are close enough to each other where I can buy a case for mine?
