Re: Where do I upload all my preserved IBM PC software?
Sounds interesting. It would also be interesting to connect the information regarding KF dumps on IA with other official sites such as HOL or MyAbandonware etc.

Re: Where do I upload all my preserved IBM PC software?
Maybe I did misunderstand something, but SPS encourages users to submit imaged floppies - in the end that's what the whole thing is about, preserving. So that is the part of "giving" for all of us and it is wonderful that this legacy of gaming culture is being taken care of individuals in ...

Re: Mac: USB endpoint not found
On the Download page it says it is compatible with macOS 10.11 when in fact on 10.12 it is also working.

Re: POLL: Problems KryoFlux under MacOS
This is understandable from a developer's perspective but also makes me a bit sad. It is a relatively small community where just a few people could make a difference. At least one update "every xx years" would be greatly appreciated I guess. Without deeper knowledge of details it may be di...

Re: POLL: Problems KryoFlux under MacOS
I'd also be interested to get Kryoflux ready for macOS Mojave and future versions. At least it runs on my 7-year old MBP running macOS High Sierra, but time will pass and it may become increasingly difficult to not update... I assume there is no easy workaround for the problem with Apple's USB stack...

Re: Drives confirmed working with KryoFlux
Are TEAC FD-55-A drives (180k, single sided, double density) useful for dumping C64/C128 5,25" floppy disks? Or should I look for the FD-55-GFR variant of these?

Re: Best way to backup Amiga floppies
I think the process for NDOS disks is like this: 1. backup the floppy using KF 2. send the dumped data (to WHO exactly? To SPS? To which e-Mail or FTP address should the dumps be sent?) 3. receive an IPF (from WHO? and WHEN?) 4. write "your" IPF or an "official" IPF (which one?) ...

Re: Best way to backup Amiga floppies
Hm. What would be the difference between "writing back" an "official" IPF image versus "kryofluxed" stream files of a copy-protected Amiga 3,5" disk using DTC in the command line? Is it even possible to write an IPF back to disk using DTC?
