Does the KryoFlux support variable head step rates, or does it use a fixed rate that should be slow enough for any drive type? I occasionally run into drives (some older 3" models) that require particularly slow step rates to avoid missing steps on longer seeks, and wasn't sure if it was an issue I ...

I've been working on adding stream support to SAMdisk, which should give half what you're after. It can read stream dumps of CPC/+3 dumps (most MFM/FM really), and can output to EDSK with all the usual protection tricks intact (weak sectors, gaps, etc.). I was surprised by the presence of -i2, as the profile only referenced the stream (preservation) format. Is there some legacy behaviour in there? Hopefully an easy fix in the GUI anyway
